Operations


All 911 calls are dispatched through the Williamson County Emergency Operation Center (EOC). The calls are received by the department via radio and voice pagers.

 

The department serves a surburban and rural area of approximately 35 square miles.

 

The department currently contracts its services with the Town of Nolensville and Williamson County. Vehicle extrication services are also provided to two additional fire departments, along with mutual aid with all surrounding fire departments.

The 2009 average response time from dispatch to on scene time was 5:59 minutes with the average turnout per incident of 8 personnel.
